Topics Focused on Questions on Planetary Environment, Culture, Science & Art
I noticed the National Geographic Channel "Alien Attack" airing of this 2011 documentary last week (first time
I saw this). I could think of a more frightening scenario than that of Travis Taylor's..
I see it is made available all over the internet too on UTube? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqAvehT8C2k
Some thoughts I have on this scientific scenario:
Regarding the overt alien appearance and invasion behavior in this scenario:
1. We, as very intelligent complex beings (yes predators), perform advanced surveillance on areas we want to explore for resources (we generally learn about the (neo-entropy) syntrophism, the symbiotic relationships between species in the areas of interest as well today) don't we? This show demonstrates a complete lack of understanding what successful space
faring beings would have to gain in knowledge for sustenance in long-term space travel and looking for planetary terra-forming. See my thought
experiment: http://whisperingplanet.com/thought_experiment and

2. After surveillance and research: Should aliens go in to invade, they most likely will first infiltrate and blend in (whether with a mimicking technology (bio robot like systems)); like we do with putting sensors, rovers on Mars, etc. for a while to work and manipulate material/eco 'behaviors' to an advantage; then they may add more
activities to perform distractions, disruptions, etc. to move the planetary eco behavior into a more workable control mechanisms. They would even utilize satellite like space debris for transversing space (in a stealth way)
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/16/us/politics/pentagon-program-ufo-harry-reid.html We do this today when invading other cultures. I know that these scientists involved know this, so is this scientific scenario just to keep the general public dumb of real operational activities?
3. Should aliens want to exterminate any particular species (like the show indicates, human), yet not have the necessary resources for a lengthy fight with the species, then they may use hidden stealth targeted bio/eco attacks on the species DNA markers, right? If I were an advanced alien that had the ability to transverse the universe, again
I'd most likely have to understand the syntrophic (neo entropy) behaviors inherent in most of that ecosystem's biological systems (attack it), and I wouldn't show my existence either, I wouldn't need to (I would use chameleon capability with my transport systems, e.g..manipulate the meteorite behavior in the surrounding solar system, and also use small convenient meteorite like weapons (that have the DNA markers for disrupting the neo entropic relationships for terra-forming the
changes I'd want). This would provide a way to disrupt the 'recognition capability of the species on the planet, keeping them focused on the belief of not having control of the circumstances (using the stealth format of the natural solar system behavior would be at my best advantage). I would keep the species confused this way, pitting the species against eachother for planetary protection, until there is
enough control on their behavior. We just use chemicals to drive out predatory ants from our spaces we occupy now, and we blend into their environment (part of it).
4. Why would they invade and what resources? If there were resources needed from this planet, I imagine it would be strictly to create another planetary experiment (testbed: by introducing our planetary DNA signatures and bacteria, etc.) to stimulate similar conditions of life on another planetary body to see what will spawn forth in a more
controlled way.
Anyway, stealth works wonders in our human invasion scenarios. So, I imagine other advanced species that are planetary (eco-system) conquers would do the same, camouflage and work on the most important areas of the species there (neo entropy).
